XIPE's discography is made of 5 albums, two of which are respectively IN THE NAME OF XIPE ( a demo-tape) and the unreleased album FLY OF PHOENIX,
plus three late albums that I put together in 1999 comprising two live concerts ( LIVE IN RECOARO 1985 VOL I and II, and SAN BONIFACIO' S NIGHT ), and METAL MEMORIES, a collection of studio recordings,  live tracks and other unreleased material.
From each CD in this page you will find demo tracks downloadable for your private use .

XIPE DISCOGRAPHY ON CD

DBHRS-XCD0001 - XIPE - IN THE NAME OF XIPE ( 1983 - 1985 - Remastered in 1998)

"In the Name of Xipe" contains the first demo tape recorded by the band  in 1983, (still under the name "Captain Kill") plus the 1985 demo tape called "In the Name of Xipe".
On the present 8 tracks remastered version, ( actually the same version that was distributed in 1985 ), all the tracks  recover their original vigour and brightness, thanks to an accurate work of digital remastering  that I performed using the original master tapes.

DBHRS-XCD0002 - XIPE - FLY OF PHOENIX ( 1986 - Remastered in 1999 )

"Fly of Phoenix" should have been  XIPE's first official LP but has unfortunately remained unreleased due to a number of misfortunes, as you can read in the more detailed page of  the band's history. The remastered version is true to the original recording and maintains all the goods and bads of the master tape that was recorded at the Work Music Studio.

DBHRS-XCD0003 - XIPE - LIVE IN RECOARO 1985 - VOL. 1 ( 1985 - Remastered in 1999 )

This is the first recorded part of a concert held on 12/05/1985 at the Teatro Comunale in Recoaro Terme ( VI ).
In 1999 I remastered the whole concert from the original cassette tape, trying to do my best to improve the very poor quality of the original recording, which had got even worse with time.
Out of that I got two CDs which are definitely better than  the original tape, even though the sound quality is still rather poor , ( unfortunately, not even the best digital remastering programs can work miracles...). The two CDs are anyway a very rare and interesting live document that captures the band in its best moment.

Recording of another live concert  held in september 1985 in the municipal square of San Bonifacio (VR).
Another most rare and interesting document of the band's live activities, which is unfortunately affected by the same poor audio quality of the previous two CDs because also this live recording  was obtained from a cassette tape of the that  time.

Unfortunately all the band's rare live acts recorded on reel -tape, ( the only ones with good audio quality ), went lost several years ago: should  anybody  have any news about them , please get in touch with me.

Metal Memories is a compilation I put together in 1999 gathering the best of the band's production, from the first studio recordings of 1983 to what should have become their debut album: Fly of Phoenix, recorded in 1986, but never released.
This compilation contains many interesting recordings of good techical quality, made during studio sessions or rehearsals but never appeared on demo tapes or in other forms.
An essential CD for those who want to have a complete knowledge of the band's music.

XIPE VIDEO MATERIAL

Recently I found the VHS recording of a concert held by the group in 1986 at the Teatro Comunale of San Bonifacio (VR).
The recording is unfortunately not complete, the video and audio quality is poor, so everything needs an accurate restoration job which I will begin when I have some spare time.
